YOGYAKARTA (often also called Jogja, Yogya, Jogja or Jogjakarta) is located in middle of Java Island – Indonesia.

Jogja is one of  beautiful place to go in Indonesia for vacation where everything is cheap.

If you are backpackers or a group of students who have a minimal budget then don’t worry, there are many hotels in Jogja you could live in under one hundred thousand rupiahs (Rp. 100.000) per-day. Although the price is cheap, doesn’t mean that the place isn’t good enough, cuase every hotel has their facilities. It depends on how smart are you to choose as you needed.

I personally had visited Yogyakarta at the end of 2012. I went with my four friends at that time. For fact I only spent five hundred thousand of my money there about two days and three nghts. I went shopping at Malioboro, culinary, bought some souvenirs yet we didn’t live in any hotel cause one of my friend has a family there. So we got free a place to stayed. That was lucky.

Malioboro or Jalan Malioboro (Malioboro Street) is one of the well known place in Jogja which a good place to visit. Malioboro Street s a major shopping street in Yogyakarta, Indonesia; the name is also used more generally for the neighborhood around the street. The street is the centre of Yogyakarta’s largest tourist district surrounded with many hotels and restaurants nearby. Sidewalks on both sides of the street are crowded with small stalls selling a variety of goods. In the evening several open-air streetside restaurants, called lesehan, operate along the street.
